St Paul’s is the UBC home of the CCFP Emergency Medicine Residency Program, which is a continuation of the CCFP Residency Program. Trainees in this program are based in communities across British Columbia including Vancouver, Surrey, Nanaimo, Prince George, and Kamloops. All trainees have opportunities to learn from and contribute to the strong clinical, academic, and teaching programs based at St. Paul’s Hospital.  The CCFP-EM program aims to train physicians with strong clinical, academic, advocacy and leadership skills, focused within the field of Emergency Medicine. Graduates of the Program are anticipated to act as leaders in Emergency Medicine with a major commitment to emergency care and teaching, regardless of where they practice.
