A program of research for the application of ECPR for patients with OHCA has been created, funded by grants from Cardiac Services B.C., the Providence Healthcare Research Institute, and the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation in partnership with the Carraresi Foundation. Based out of the B.C. Canadian Resuscitation Outcomes Consortium office, this unique regional ECPR protocol will be formally evaluated under the prospective British Columbia ECPR Trial.
