St. Paul’s Hospital emergency department is proud to sponsor nurses to pursue the BCIT emergency nursing specialty program. This 6-8 month program will allow qualified registered nurses to work in the emergency department in a supported, low-moderate acuity area while also completing coursework towards the BCIT emergency nursing specialty certificate. Nurses who have experience working in an acute medical-surgical unit and new grads with experiences in high acuity, critical care, or emergency are encouraged to apply for this program.
